Welcome to Our Wed-site

Hello!!!! We're so excited to invite you to celebrate with us for our wedding in Vietnam in April 2027.

You'll find everything you need here, from travel and where to stay, to all the key details for the weekend. We'll be adding more updates and surprises over the coming months, so keep an eye out.

You might be thinking… wtff Vietnam!? But this place is very special to us, and we couldn't imagine tying the knot anywhere else! We know it's a long way, so we're doing everything we can to make it as smooth and easy as possible. We're planning to make this as special for you as it will be for us.

We can't wait for you to experience it with us — a weekend that feels a little like stepping into our own dreamland!

A Message From Us

Our Story

We are saying I do, in the place we first said I love you

We've known each other for nearly 15 years... it just took us a while to catch on. When we finally did, we went straight in - Covid, living back at our parents', and what we like to call "microwaving" the relationship in year one. Then came London and our 'fuck it and book it' era, where things got a lot more fun. We bought a place, renovated it, and had some of our best (and wildest) years together.

Then, as we do, we packed it all up and moved to Dubai. Turns out it's never really been about where we are - just that we're doing it together. We feel so lucky for the life we've built together - and a big part of it is you lot. From Glasto, to holidays, to nights that got slightly out of hand, most of our best memories involve the people around us - which is exactly why it wouldn't feel right doing this without all of you there... So we're heading back to where it all started - and bringing you lot with us!

With so much love, Lewis & Lydia x

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay
Recommended · All events here · Discounted rates secured

All events across the three days take place here. Designed by Bill Bensley, the resort follows a playful French colonial "university" theme — each building represents a different faculty. It's immersive, detailed, and one of the most unique places we've been. There are beaches, restaurants, markets, and pools to explore across the resort.

We have secured discounted room rates for guests. Expected price: £215–£230 per night (Standard King, luxury). Villas and family options available. Please wait for our booking link before reserving.

Questions & Answers

FAQs

When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving a few days early and spending some time in Ho Chi Minh City before heading to Phu Quoc. It's one of our favourite cities and well worth exploring.
How long should I stay?
Make the most of the UK bank holidays and turn it into a longer trip if you can. The more of Vietnam you see, the better.
Do I need a visa?
No visa required for British passport holders — you can enter Vietnam visa-free for up to 45 days. See the Travel section for more detail.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we're only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly.
Are kids invited?
While we adore your children, our wedding will mostly be an adult-focused celebration, with only close family children attending. We hope this gives you the chance to relax and enjoy the day.

That said, we completely understand it's a long way to travel and we'd love you to see this as a holiday. If bringing your children is the only way you can make it, please do let us know — we'd much rather have you there.

We'll also be very happy to help arrange or recommend childcare on the day where we can.
What should I wear?
Day 1 — Welcome Drinks: Summer Chic. Day 2 — Wedding Day: Tropical Elegance. Day 3 — Pool Party: Fancy dress theme to be revealed!
Is transport provided?
Transport is not provided, but all events take place within the resort. Taxis on the island are very affordable — download Grab before you arrive.
